Blessing of Throats. In honor of the Feast Day of St. Blaise, we will offer a blessing of the throats after all Masses the weekend of February 3 and 4.
Communion Services. Due to a Diocesan-wide Clergy Retreat, there will be communion services on Tuesday, February 6, and Wednesday, February 7, at 7:30 am and 8:30 am.
Parents' Night Out! Sunday, February 11th (the Sunday before Valentine's Day), from 6:30-8:30 pm, the high school youth group is providing a Parents' Night Out. Faith at Work, Three Nights on Spiritual Growth.

Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study for Women is back! Starting February 1, we will begin our study of The Holy Spirit in the Bible, in the Hermes Center. Meetings begin at 9 am with a large group reflection, followed by a group discussion of the lesson. We conclude at 11 am. There is also a Zoom option. Register at fvwbiblestudy.org.

March for Life 2024! On Wednesday, April 17th, from 6 am – 7 pm, you and your family are invited to go as a community of faith to the Illinois March for Life in Springfield. This is a Diocesan-sponsored event. We will meet at St. Patrick Parish on Crane Road at 6 am and take a coach bus to the Capitol for Mass, the rally, the march, lunch, and adoration. The cost is $80 per person, only $40 for our church members. SJN will pay the difference to encourage participation. Cost includes transportation, snacks, and dinner on the bus on the way home so please bring a sack lunch. For more information and to register click here. Join Us for An Afternoon of Inspiration & Purpose! We’re excited to host To Africa with Love, NFP, one of our International tithe recipients, on Saturday, January 27, from 2:00 – 3:45 pm in the Hoffman Center, to create a vision board that reflects the plans that God has for you in this new year! We will follow the model To Africa with Love used with young women in Africa.
Feel free to bring supplies (magazines, pictures, bible quotes, etc.). We will also have a variety of magazines, posterboards, glue, and scissors available. Light refreshments will be provided. More event details and registration here.
Volunteers are needed to give hope to children in need around the world. For the first time, Samaritan’s Purse Midwest Ministry Center in Aurora will host the continued support of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and they need our help. We have reserved two sessions during February to help pack each unique box for children where it is often difficult or dangerous to share the Gospel. Help ensure that the Good News of God's love can be delivered to children regardless of the cultural or religious challenges. Reserve your spot here today with your family, friends, or your group at church for the packing sessions. Slots are limited! When we partner with Samaritan's Purse, we help bring the Name of Jesus Christ to people who may never have heard it before!
